Parlane are one of the world’s leading suppliers of stylish, affordable home accessories and gifts exclusively to the trade, with 3,000 independent shops across the UK, Eire and Europe.

The Brief

A new web site was needed to deliver on a number of  goals:

  • To promote the brand to potential new stockists
  • To improve the online stock ordering experience for existing stockists
  • To raise awareness with consumers and direct them to local stockists

The Solution

We re-evaluated how the brand was presented online, and clearly defined who the site was aimed at to deliver on the goals set. The site also had to reflect the history, heritage and stature of the business in a very competitive marketplace.

A complex back end integration was also delivered to support Parlane, making update of stock information on the website and download of order information a seamless process.

Responsive eCommerce Site

We delivered a full responsive website for both trade and consumer customers. For consumers they could see the current product range available, find Parlane stockists local to them using their postcode and get the latest news from Parlane. For trade customers, and in addition to the above they could login with their trade account, see previews of the next seasons products and order online.

Our ranges update twice a year in both our English and Spanish operations, these are huge updates for us which Lines support. The website has become a seamless extension of our CRM and stock management system, which we work with Lines and the CMS to keep up to date.
