The Challenge
Create the product 'sub brand' for a revolutionary new product.
The launch of the revolutionary new Robocut 2 required a distinctive ‘sub brand’ to differentiate the product from their main product range, whilst retaining the core McConnel brand DNA.
The core attributes of a McConnel product remain central to Robocut 2, but the branding and sales proposition really needed to stand out in the Remote Control Technology market.

Our Solution
Branding, proposition development and launch materials.
We worked with the client to establish a strapline, develop copy and to define and present the key differentiators and selling points for this new, much improved version of the product.
We developed a new logo, introducing a red accent colour, also used as a key colour across the launch materials, along with a distinctive ‘contours’ graphic to represent the all terrain capability of Robocut 2.

The Results
A successful launch with initial orders exceeding forecasts.
The new product was well received across the industry at exhibitions and launch events, creating interest and orders that exceeded McConnel’s forecast.
The product has gone on to be a success story that has seen McConnel extend the range and lead the way in Remote Control Technology in their sector.
